on Us... (get it?)
The Drowsy Dragon isn’t NEW by any means, we’ve
been making “Good Scents” for quite a while!
In 1997, The Drowsy Dragon was opened in
Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We discovered we could best provide the highest
quality and caliber of products to our customers by doing things our self…
but where to start?
Being in the heart of one of America’s premier crafting communities, gave us the unique opportunity to explore into
our imaginative and creative natures with seasoned professional crafters all
around us!
We set out to design, develop and create our
own lines of products for our customers...
Bath/Body (soaps, lotions, bath salts, etc)
Incense (cone and stick)
Candles (votives, pillars and containers)
We must have done something right, our products
began to win awards at Tennessee craft shows and other stores even wanted to
carry our product lines!
Based solely on customer demand and wholesale
requests, a second store was opened for the design and production of our
lines… we named it Dragonfly Botanicals!
We took a little time to hibernate…
After closing both stores in 2000, we decided
to take the opportunity to reevaluate and perfect our products before
re-introducing them to you! As a result of this… we are pleased to
represent better quality, higher caliber and more eco-friendly products.
So you see, we’ve made “Good Scents” for
a while, now we’re just doing it in the Heartland of America rather than in
the Heart of the Smoky Mountains!
